Like most people I grew up in a family where music was greatly appreciated. Imagine what this world would be like without music...Of course there would be sounds, but no melodies, and no beautiful voices to sing your favorite lyrics. Music is the soundtrack to my life. Growing up my uncle was a New York Hip- Hop DJ. The crate carrying vinyl kind of DJ.

I, as a 10 year old girl who would rather learn how to scratch records than play wth dolls,  helped him carry those crates to gigs all over New York. Watching him create mixing masterpieces and breaking in new records was a highlight for me. I didn't know then, that I would be so involved in shaping my future by watching him rehearse his sets. My humble music beginnings began even earlier than that. In elementatry school,   I was taught how to read music, learned how to play  piano, and the violin. Again, my music journey began as a child, but this was when music programs in schools thrived a long, long, time ago.

Fast Forward 20+ years. Life experiences, family, and love, all happened and started shaping the rest of my future. During this time, I fell in love with  the art of making films, went to college and learned how to make films. When it came down to finding music for my projects, I would be on a limited budget so I would have to find a musician that would work within my means and I would usually end up doing it myself if it didn't work out. The musician in me never died just layed dormant for a minute. Once I started producing  my own projects, word got around that I could write and produce music and I began doing it for colleagues for their projects. It gets tiring after a while when it's just work and not the  enjoyment of creating something you love. Especially if you are doing it for little or no compensation.

I spent the last few years working in an audio post facility in New York learning the ins and outs of audio production.  I finally decided that I would do the music thing professionally, and start offering my songwriting and production services. So now I get to do what I love to do on my own terms.
